Almost Done
I am one document away from having everything I need to send off to my graduate schools. After I do that I will not want to hear or talk about graduate school or England for the next 24 days. They will be the most nerve racking 3 weeks. Monday is my absolute deadline for everything to be sent in to those schools. I'm glad that this part is almost finished.
On a less nerve racking subject...I am finally getting to go and visit Gregg in New York. I might even make a side trip to Baltimore to see my cousin Becky, and finally see Jack, and get to be the first one to see Lincoln. That would be really fun. Hang out with them on my birthday.
Anyway it's 11:30 and I have to go to work tomorrow.

So I'm confused
They say that the History Museum always need volunteers. And I even talked to the lady about volunteering and I have yet to hear back from her. I mean I haven't talked to either since the first talk, but two days I am working at the Campbell House and the rest of the time I was waiting for my grade in my online class to change and now I am waiting for my last letter of recommendation so I can turn my applications into my schools in England.
The Campbell House is a great place to work. It's small enough that I get time with my boss to talk to him and ask questions if I need help, and every time I leave work he thanks me, he is really funny. I have also met his wife and his new baby boy, such a cute baby. Also most times there are only about 3 people working in the House. Like I said it's a small museum. But I like working there. Even though all I do all day is sit in a storage room looking at really old (ok stuff from the 40s isn't really old) papers and making sure they are put in chronological order. But I am glad for the experience. Even though I'm not doing much, I do get to see what my boss does from day to day. Also if there is no one to give tours and he really needs me, I give tours. That idea scared the crap out of me. Then it happened. Andy(my boss) came down and was like I really need your help. Meaning that there was no one else. He had a meeting and someone was at the door for a tour. It turned out not to be that bad, but I wish I would have remembered more than I did. And then I couldn't get one of the doors unlocked and one of the women that was on the tour had to help me get the door unlocked. Honestly not too bad.
Now that I have most of my application stuff done, I am getting excited and nervous. But it is a good nervous. I really want to get into one of these schools. I also hope that Liz get into her school as well.
I'll keep ya'll updated on what's going on with everything.

YAY!! The Time Has Finally Come
So I go from having no job to now having two. I am super excited. I am volunteering for the History Museum and I am now working for the Campbell House. Which, funnily enough, is located right across the street from my friend Ben's place. I am really happy and I start next week at the second place. Not sure when I start the volunteering stuff.
**Also super excited about the MIZZOU football game this weekend!!**

Step One

Yet again I didn't get the internship at the History Museum, downtown. But this time I think that it is ok that I didn't get it. The volunteer coordinator called and she wants me to volunteer. And I also have an internship with the Campbell House, which sounds like a more laid back, not quite as stuffy place to work. I think that this is a good thing and things are starting to somewhat fall into place for me.
I just need to start getting my butt in gear and get this online class finished and get my personal statement finished and get my letters from my profs to turn everything in. It is starting to feel somewhat real and that is scary but doing stuff like this is always a little scary. I think it is more scary this time around because I will be gone longer than just six months. But I think that I am ready for the challenge.
